New Chilli and Split Pea Soup

I don’t often advocate processed food as you know, but sometimes having a tin of something in is a better choice than pigging out on chocolate when you’re hungry!

And, if you’re going to have a tin of something, at least make it a good one.

Goodness Foods have just listed three new products from Amy’s Kitchen, I see: two veg chilli’s and a split pea soup. All veggie and pretty good on ingredients. No wheat, gliadin gluten or dairy. Funnily enough, P has been having some of these soups recently and really rates them.

Amy's Kitchen Medium Chilli 400g

Ingredients

Vegetables (onions, sweet peppers, jalapeno peppers) 39%, red beans 30%, tofu (water, soybeans, nigari [magnesium chloride]) 12%, water, sweet rice flour, safflower and/or sunflower oil, garlic, spices, sea salt.

Amy's Kitchen Spicy Chilli 400g

Ingredients (this is a bit hotter)

Vegetables (onions, sweet peppers, jalapeno peppers) 40%, red beans 30%, water, tofu (water, soybeans, nigari [magnesium chloride]) 10%, sweet rice flour, safflower and/or sunflower oil, spices, garlic, sea salt.

Amy's Kitchen Split Pea Soup 400g

Ingredients

Filtered water, vegetables (onions, celery, carrots, garlic) (21%), green split peas 11%, sea salt, spices, cracked black pepper.

There is a whole range on the site of Amy’s Kitchen stuff.  Just put ‘Amy’s Kitchen’ in the search box. Check ingredients: I note some of them do contain wheat, gluten and dairy so be careful, but there are plenty you CAN have, so enjoy!
